Administrative Assistant Job Description

assistant to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an administrative role coupled with formal training and education in administration.
- Above average knowledge and experience with common Microsoft Office and database software programs.
- A quick study with the ability to work independently.
- Proven track record of completing projects accurately and on time.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- As the first point of contact for our customers, present yourself professionally and appropriately as the “ambassador” of
our company.
- Receive all phone calls in a professional manner, while ensuring timely follow up.
- Assistance in updating various security monitoring databases.
- Performing banking duties.
- Preparing job paperwork including preparing customer files.
- Assistance to the Manager of Administration and other team members in preparing quotes, billings, reviewing work orders,
helping with accounts receivable while ensuring that our quality control processes are followed.
- Other administrative duties include: photocopying and faxing; ordering office supplies; organizing mail; arranging courier
pick-ups; contacting customers as necessary; documenting the office procedures in an office policies and procedures manual;
and assisting other team members in serving customers.
- Working closely with the Manager of Administration to ensure that all administrative tasks are performed on a timely
basis.
